Join the Office of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell for a free workshop and discussion on the unique experiences aging communities of color face due to systemic racism along with the resources and steps we can take to help address this.
Workshop topics include estate planning, Alzheimer’s disease awareness, self-care best practices for caregivers, and tips to make homes safer for aging adults.
This event will be followed by a social hour with food, music and fellowship!
Celebrating, Elevating, and Facilitating Racial Justice Leadership in the Second District
The Second District Racial Justice Learning Exchange (RJLE) is an initiative of the Office of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell that brings district residents, County, civic and community leaders together to learn from and celebrate our diversity, confront biases and inspire meaningful steps to eliminate structural racism.
