Flyover Ceremony Saluting the Legacy of Tuskegee Airmen and Los Angeles Native, Col. Theodore George Lumpkin Jr

WHAT: The Condor Squadron Pilots will pay tribute to famed Tuskegee Airmen and World War II veteran, Col. Theodore George Lumpkin Jr. with a flyover ceremony. Lumpkin, who lived to be 100 years old, was a long-time resident of the Second Supervisorial District who served as an Intelligence Officer with the 332nd Fighter Group.

 

WHEN: Saturday, February 20 at 2:00pm

 

WHERE: Four North American AT6 Advanced Trainer aircrafts used in World War II will take off at 2:00pm from Van Nuys Airport on Saturday, February 20 and will do a Missing Man formation above Compton Airport between 2:20-2:30pm. The entire flight path includes:
